ALLGEMEINE BESCHREIBUNG: The Martí Hotel is a construction of Art Deco style, located in the Historical Centre of the Guantánamo City, in corner of Calixto Garcia and Aguilera facing of the Central Park Jose Martí. The construction has a high patrimonial level of protection acquired by its history and location. At the moment the hotel is out of service to be subjected to a process of general repair and investments.

Hotel Martí small desk, lobby, restaurant and a wide kitchen are located on the first level of the building. The second level hosts all the guest rooms, ordered in a horseshoe form and for their center, a stairway that leads to the roof of the building.

Finally the hotel will have 30 rooms with private bathrooms. From the rooms of the Hotel Martí the guests will be able to enjoy beautiful views of the historical center of the city of Guantánamo especially the Central Park José Martí.

It is foreseen that the Hotel Martí like a completely rejuvenated installation and with new facilities opens their doors once again for the second semester of the year 2008. The Hotel Martí will operate in the modality of cultural tourism and will be operated by Islazul Hotels.
